The smart unit operates at a max of 64-watt consumption (230V), equivalent to a single light bulb. Thanks to Paloma's smart features, it ignites and heats only the required water needed ensuring gas savings. Unlike other branded units, it doesn't run at max demand if its not needed. The integrated fan guarantees a reliable air supply leading to increased flame temperature and a more complete combustion optimizing gas savings considering the higher output temperatures.

Paloma have an optional Remote Control unit that allows for easy temperature adjustment. It can extend the cylinder life as the user can set the exact desired water output temperature. The controller eliminates the need to mix in cold water to achieve the desired temperature. Users can optimize energy efficiency and reduce unnecessary energy consumption..
The Paloma can also be integrated inline with your new or existing solar geyser. In the event of a cloudy day or a higher than expected hot water consumption, The unit will detect that a tap has been opened with a flow sensor and read the current water temperature. If the reading is below the set temperature, The unit will ignite.
The innovative EZ-Link capability lets you link two Paloma geysers to meet higher hot water demands or accommodate low ambient temperatures effectively. Intelligent hot water delivery driven by sensor-controlled heating, guarantees a constant water temperature optimizing gas usage. A sensor-controlled water pressure monitor automatically adjusts water pressure entering the geyser for efficiency.
How many gas cylinders do I need?
At The LpGas Man, We suggest a cylinder setup of 2 x 48kg bottles but the unit will work with 19kg cylinders. The one cylinder will be in use and the other is backup. If the property has multiple gas geysers or gas points and require more gas, We can assist and help towards getting fire department approval to hold over 100kg's of gas on the ERF.

- While the installation of a gas cages is not always required, it may be used in certain circumstances. For example, if a gas cylinder is located under a window. A gas cage is used to reduce the horizontal distance between the window and the cylinder from 3 meters down to 600mm. This provides an additional layer of safety. If you dont need a cage but would like a cage installed with a new or existing installation for added protection, We offer a variety of gas cage sizes and styles.

New builds- Please notify your electrician/builder to follow the below regulation.
Electrical equipment, such as light switches and plugs, shall be at least 200mm away from any
burner and potential point of gas release. Where it is necessary to install a gas hob together with an
electric oven, a three-point plug socket shall not be used to connect the electric oven. A proper isolator switch shall be in place above the level of the hob and it shall have at least 200 mm
clearance from the hob.
No electrical connection shall be made below the hob. This will be in accordance with the requirements of SANS 10108.
